As one of the shopping centers in Paringin area, Balangan Regency, market is needed by community, especially Regency. The problem that often found areas have high activity such as markets parking. One thing needs to be done reduce this analyze parking area area. Things need analyzed are characteristics, namely analyzing volume, accumulation, duration, turnover rate (parking turn over), capacity supply), index, and demand analysis. purpose study determine characteristics requirements market. method used a direct survey field obtain number parked vehicles, recording vehicles entering leaving for 3 days according actual conditions field. From results study, it was highest volume 208 accumulation 50 average duration 2,083 hours/vehicle. over value 0.253 vehicles/SRP/hour, index 55.68%. lots currently available 103 so sufficient accommodate users during peak hours.Keywords: demand, paringin
